First Securities Investment Trust, renamed from NITC on Dec. 31, 2008, and as the third investment trust company established in Taiwan, started its corporate history on January 15, 1986. Since the first fund "NITC Taipei Fund" was listed on the London Exchange on May 22, 1986, the company has launched a total number of 25 funds and is one of Taiwan's renowned fund managers. FSIT has been consistently recognized for its superior investment performance with 24 wins of "Taiwan Fund Performance Awards" sponsored by Taipei Foundation of Finance. On July 31, 2003, the company became a wholly owned subsidiary of First Financial Holding Co. through a share swap. To align with the group's objective of offering one-stop services across products, segments and markets, FSIT continues to launch proprietary funds, develop innovative fund products and deliver investment advisory solutions to high-net-worth clients.
